Hope there is someone who can help, as my provider has a hard time here.
I recently got a company (blackberry 9300) phone (phone package, plus data service). My husband has his company phone which is a Nokia 3720.

The problem, I can text everybody, except my husband. Whenever I send him a text he does get a 'message" but when he wants to open it is says "text type not supported".
Today we went to the provider and after a lot of searching, they gave me a new sim card. Which worked! But.... Then I found out that the data settings where not set yet. They have set these settings, and guess what, I can not longer text him again.

So it does work, as long as there are no settings for the data. As soon as these are being set, the problem with the "text type not supported" starts again.

The problem is now with the technical department of the provider.
Anybody ideas?

If your husbands BB is a company phone it may have a texting block. companys use what is called an IT policy and they set various limits including what can be used on the BB. Keep in mind they also can have a very limited view of employees who attempt to bypass policys.
