8520 appworld problem

Model Curve8520
Carrier-BSNL INDIA
BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0 the following on win7
net connect broadband landline also

Appworld 3.0 is loaded on laptop. when i connect mobile to download any application is observered

1. Device manager and desktop software initialises.
2. explorer and firefox both fail to recognise the phone saying connect device even when it is connected.

any help / idea / suggestions

i am trying to download applications
1. mobile echeck
2. ductulator
any way that it can be downloaded

You can either download the app from app world.

You can also visit app world on a computer and download and install through the plug-in. (This is what you meant about app world being on your laptop?)

What sort of problems are you facing?

ZombieBerry, NJBlackBerry Thanks guys, i have found out the problem is with my carrier, i used another account to down load the apps.
