Default Address Book Malfunction

Please Login to Remove!

Accidentally I must have hit a key in my BB 7100 which started to copy the address book and was never complete. When I click on Address Book, the following message appears on the screen:

Find
*No Addresses*
Copying To Address Book ...

Once this message is on the screen, the only way to get out is to turn the BB off.

Can anyone help? I would like to have access to the information I had saved in the Address Book. If the data is gone, I would like to know how to reset the address book

Thanks

It sounds sort of like you were copying the SIM contacts to the BlackBerry address book.

When you say you turn the BlackBerry off, perhaps you are simply powering it off? If so, power it on again and remove the battery. Wait 30+ seconds and then put the battery back, and try again.
