Default Address book problem

Please Login to Remove!

On first syncing my new Bold with my macbookpro I did not realize that my gmail contacts would be all dumped on the blackberry.

I now have 6,000 contacts on my blackberry; moreoever, something went wrong during sync so that some contacts have been repeated up to ... TEN times.

The result of this grand mess is that my Bold malfunctions--there's too much data in it. It freezes for long periods of time.

As far as I can tell there's only one way to delete these contacts: one by one.

Am I in hell? or am in hell?

Does anyone know of an alternative (that would not include wiping out the source data, off of gmail addressbook directly)

Many thanks in advance,

Ali

Many issues can cause this . The link may offer a clue or at least help by giving you a place to further search.

KB22459-Modified organizer data fields that exist on both the BlackBerry smartphone and the Mac computer are duplicated after synchronization by the BlackBerry Desktop Software 0 1764908583
