BBM notification on phone, but i dont have BBM?

Default BBM notification on phone, but i dont have BBM?

i got a notification sign at the top of my screen today(bb curve 8520) . i didnt recognise it so did a google search and its a BBM notification. i dont have a bbm account and cant find it anywhere on the phone. ive opened every folder and no sign of it anywhere.
how do i clear this sign off my screen?

Unless you removed BBM, it's installed. Check installed applications in options to confirm. The icon may be hidden or in a folder you didn't check.

Act on the notifications (perhaps it is an invite) and that will clear the notification.

There is no notification in my inbox so I can't delete it.
I still can't find BBM in any of my folders, its installed to but I dunno where it is.
If it is "hidden", where could it be?
