Untransfered E-mail Settings
 
Recently got a new phone. My place of work purchased 9650's to replace our 9650's (I didn't understand it either). I transferred all my settings using blackberry desktop including E-mail settings. Problem is that it will not receive emails. When I go to the setup to verify account with password it will not work and gives me a message "sorry unable to continue your session" I deleted the accounts from the registry on the phone but they still show up. I cannot get them to disappear or get them set up. Any suggestions????????

Are you using BIS or BES?

If BIS, did you log into your BIS account and changed the IMEI and PIN to that of the new device?

And if you are on BES you will have to run Enterprise Activation.

Is this a company issued BB on your company's email system?

Perhaps ask whoever handed you the new BlackBerry. They should have done more than just that.
