I'm having a problem with notifications popping up. it started with the "voicemail" notification. I read up other forum posts and listened to all voicemail then followed suggestions to do a battery pull which I did however every time I do a battery pull i get another indian writing looking icon appearing in the notification bar.

"indian writing" ?

When you are finished listening to voicemail, how do you end the call?

On mine, it tells me to press the * key to end the vm session. Sometimes if I forget to do that, it will leave that notification.

Yea it looks like the Indian Symbol, I've listened to it and it tells me to press # to end the call which I do. It's the first time it's happened.

Did you fully listen to the voicemail message of hang up/disconnect during the recording. If you don't listen to the full record (or mark deleted during the recording) generally the carrier won't send the "VMI off" to the device.

If that fails, you can call yourself from a different line and leave another voicemail, on you get the notification for the new voicemail, go in and delete it. This should clear the stuck indicator. This is what is described in:
KB10036-New voice mail indicator displayed, but no new voice mail messages exist

As an aside, I also question the "Indian Symbol" comment :P
