BB Application World login issues
 

Hello everyone.

I have a bb8520. This is my second one. I'm having some difficulties in getting access to bb application world. My first bb was stolen and I've gotten a second mainly because of the apps I had on there like kindle for bb, a dictionary, youverssion, and what's app. I can't get into application world at all! I got the phone two days ago and I've installed application world, then upgraded, hooked it up to a pc using the softwear to no effect.

Application world just tells me:

Blackberry identification update required. Would u like to update now?

Click 'yes' or 'no'

For either of the two options it says:

Bb identity installation failed.

Change your BlackBerry smartphone


If you have changed your BlackBerry® smartphone, you must log in to the BlackBerry® Management Center website and change your smartphone information.
From the BlackBerry Management Center website, click Change BlackBerry Device.
Enter your new PIN and IMEI, ESN or MEID, and indicate who owns your new smartphone.
Click Next.
On the Confirm Information screen, review your information. If it is correct, click Submit. A BlackBerry smartphone connection confirmation code is sent to your smartphone.
Enter the confirmation code in the Confirmation Code field.
Click Submit.
Specify the administrator permission settings for your new smartphone.
Click Submit.
