Just got given a new Blackberry bold 9000 from my brother, unfortunately it has a password and he has no idea what it is.

What can be done to over-rite the problem. Were up to our last attempt.

Where did your brother get it?

From work, hes just purchased a new Apple and had no use for it,

Tried asking work, but no luck.

Why doesn't your brother know the password? Is he authorized to have the device from work?

Appreciate the response, however unless you're providing productive resolutive information id rather keep to solutions.

And to answer this question, he doesnt know the password, its a brand new phone that has never been used before and yes he is authorized to own the phone, he just never kept the box/booklet. Its not stolen, if thats what youre implying.

If that were true, it would't have a password on it.

Your brother should ask whomever he got the device from.

Otherwise, he should return it.
