Hi All,

I recently upgraded my BB APP World, but am not able to log in anymore. When I try to log in I get the following question:
A blackberry identity update is needed. Would you like to install it now? Yes/No. Eitherway it says Blackberry Identity Installation fsiled. Please try again.

Any idea on how I can get this fixed?

I read in other threads that Blackberry Protect could be the issue, so I deleted it, but still the same thing happens and now I can't re-install Blackberry Protect or anything else for that matter.

When I click on the link you provided I get immediately the following:
Unable to access BlackBerry AppWorld after entering BlackBerry ID information.

What should I do - sorry not a BB expert :(

the link i sent was a support suggestion from RIM and suggested the user log in via a PC and reset their account info..

this link offers more detail. You need to be able to read this link from a PC to see clearly what you need to do. It may be that the screen on a cell phone is too small. Your post does not indicate your mobile.

Thanks, i did the reset of the password on my pc, but I still get the same message on my BB when I try to go my BB App World.

Any other ideas?

pull the battery to reset the Os . The App may be glitched.

I went through the link, but did not get the option for set up once I logged in on my pc. I got the options to re-install the app world, but after rebooting, same thing still happens...can't log in as identity installation failed.
