This may not be a problem but it is quite frustrating so if someone could help me understand what is going on, I would be grateful!
When I first set up email to come to my Blackberry from my ISP-provided email address, a new email icon appeared on my home screen, and all my emails were dropped in there. So far no problem. Recently however I turned on Call Logging under Phone Options to display All Calls.
I noticed a notification on the top left of the Home screen that I believed was the result of a Missed Call. When I went in to my Inbox to check and then cancel the notification, it was not there. I changed my Theme and found the Missed Call notification in that Inbox. When I went back to my preferred Theme the notification had been removed from the Home screen.
Can someone tell me what causes this behavior? Can I get this notification to show up in my preferred theme inbox?

Is your "preferred theme" one that comes with the OS or is a third party?

Some third-party themes are not properly written and cause problems like notifications that won't go away. Tell the developer and then delete that theme.

The problem is more common that most believe. I downloaded one freebe and it would not clear email notifications.

So I'm not going crazy!! Thanks to you all
