Default 8520 calls keep breaking up

Please Login to Remove!

Hi people.

My partner has a Blackberry 8520 and I have a Samsung Galaxy SII, we bought them around the same time and have been confused which phone is at fault for the calls breaking up.

It is every phonecall that after a few minutes, I can't hear her or she can't hear me and then have to hang up to call again.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Many thanks for reading.

Is this only calls between you and your partner? Do you or they have the same issue when having conversations with others?

Yeah it just seems to be our phonecalls, we've only had the phones a short time and calls to landlines have been fine.

Only thing I can think of is that one or both of you may be on the fringe area of reception. What kind of a signal strength do you and the partner see?

Both are of very good signal and the problem has occured when each of us have been on different locations.

The only thing that she has found unusual, whilst in a call, is an icon that looks like it is reloading/updating something, but she isn't sure what it means.

if it looks like a rotating clock it may mean that the BB is low on memory. Do either have any running Apps while making a call like GPS maps etc?

I know I don't tsac, I always have GPS disabled, but maybe that is what is running on her phone, will have a look into it today and get back to you tonight, thank you.
