Default 9300 Browser issue

Please Login to Remove!

I'm convinced something is wrong with the browser on my BB.

I have had it a few months, and have never been able to browse without interruption, the loading will just hang, then eventually i get the following message...

"Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later

If the problem persists please contact your service provider"

Now this is strange, as the twitter app works fine, and so does the facebook app, although not always)

Any ideas? I'm stumped.

I have a guess but it's purely just that.

Browsers will attempt to connect to a destination for a period of time and timeout(stop trying) if it cannot reach its destination. However, my guess is that the twitter and facebook apps will continuously retry or has a longer timeout value.

Yeah, it definately seems to be timing out... I just don't know why?

my cousins have the same handset, same network and say there's is fine.

But are your cousins in the same coverage area as you? They may be closer to a tower as well.

nope, live close-by, i have the problem wherever i go. at work on a top floor, at home, wherever really

If as you say the cousins use the same carrier and blackberry's then yours may be having radio issues. does the signal strength ( bars) show the same? Could you have an app thats causing the internet delays? If EVERYTHING is the same then you can try doing a OS update or replacement. Do a search or use the FAQ section for further info on OS replacement or upgrade.

You will need to be togerther ( same place) with the cousins when you check the bars.
