Hi,

I'm using an 8520 on T-Mobile UK. just recently, the network connection to T-Mobile has turned itself off twice whilst the phone was in a holster leaving the phone in 'SOS' state. I have had to go to Manage Connections, and re-select Mobile Network to get a signal. I have no idea how long the phone had been disconnected before I noticed it.


The OS is V4.6.1.314, I haven't updated it as this is a company phone and I'm not sure an OS upgrade would work with my company mail server.

The battery is around 15 months old, but is in good condition and on both occasions was nearly full.

Has anyone else reported / heard of this?

I would highly recommend purchasing a newer device. The 8520 was low-end and has been plagued with problems.
