Default BB Bold 9700 - Enterprise Activation Problem

I am BB Bold 9700 user and have been trying to perform an Enterprise Activation using the proper email id -credentials and company provided Enterprise activation password. This is supposed to be a straightforward process but has not worked for me. For several months, I was setup (incorrectly) as a BIS ( Blackberry Internet service user by my service provider in India) and I was trying to get this rectified by getting set up as a "BES" ( Blackberry Enterprise Service user). Any thoughts ? Thanks,

Contact your carrier and make sure that the BES services have been added to your account and that they have pushed down the service books.

This is the right advice. Without a BES service you can only connnect to a BES Express server, and you can't do that using over the air activation.

To use a BlackBerry on a BES server you must have BES specific service from your carrier.
