Default Trying to Sync with New Desktop Software v 7.0.0.43

Hello,
I just upgraded to the new version of desktop software, and I also reconfigured the folders because this version does not use intellisync. However, when i tell it to sync, it appears to be going through the motions, but has been Stuck (though the green bar is "moving" across the screen) on the Preparing Sync Preview section for quite some time. How long should this take and what can i do to make sure it is working?

Have heard there are still bugs in DM 7. My advice is to go back to 6.1 until 7.0 gets sorted out.

I'm having trouble with 7 too, I want to reinstall 6.1 but cant find it anywhere. Can anyone help please?

I have the same problem. I can sync contacts, tasks and memos (separately or together), but when I try to sync calendar (either total or limiting it to future appointments) it hangs in Preparing Sync Preview.
How do I get back to 6.1, or do we hope for a fix soon?

I tried this and it worked for me on my Torch 9810, OS7: Go to the BB Desktop Manager's Organizer page and click through each Configure section, changing from two-way to one-way (in other words, erase and replace the contents of your phone with your computer's data). No problems. It gave me some choices to make, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I then went back in and reset everything to two-way. (Now, this is where the old BB Desktop Mgr used to hiccup.) Again, nothing out of the ordinary.

I hope this keeps working this smoothly and works for you other guys having troubles.

Desktop software 6.1 continually says that my Address Book is "(not installed)", so I can't sync in any direction. What next?

Sorry, tsac. I had started another thread, which an admin later shut down. Desktop Software Manager 7.0 had caused me sync problems. After reading some posts in this forum, I deleted 7.0, loaded 6.1, and things got worse. That's when I started the new thread. Then, when the admin closed my thread, he/she also posted a link, saying that my topic was under discussion here.

Should I start a separate thread, again?

How do I get a version, any version, of BB Desktop software that will let me restore my device's (Curve, Verizon) address book? Restoring didn't work either.
