I used my existing BB Desktop Software to upgrade to the new 7.0. After having lots of sync problems, I found advice here to remove 7.0, and install 6.1. So, on my Windows 7, I did. Now 6.1 won't sync the address book, saying "not installed". All of the entries in my address book have now also disappeared, although when I manually enter new ones, they stay.

I removed 6.1, and re-installed 6.1, but still have the same sync issue, and no way to get my 1000+ contacts from Outlook back onto my phone! BTW, it's a Verizon Curve 8530, if that matters. I'm afraid to re-try the 7.0.

Any suggestions on what I should do? Thnx
