emails received as miscellaneous jargon!

Default emails received as miscellaneous jargon!

I updated the software on my stupid-smartphone this past weekend, and now the emails I compose and send from it, as well as pictures take and send, are received as miscellaneous jargon such as this: "™«m›gÚr)b¶'¬r‰ƒj×…®-{ æöÓ]"

Anyone know why, and how to correct it? An explanation in lamens terms and step-by-step instructions are appreciated.

FYI... I utilize my bberry for a personal email (Comcast) and a business email (Gmail).

Does this just happen on email? All email accounts? Does it happen with text messages and BBM?

It happens when I compose and send an email from my bberry, via either acct (Comcast & Gmail).

Alright. So just to confirm, sending text messages and BBM messages works normally?

Have you tried removing the battery from the device for a minute?

Yes, texts and BBM work normally.
Yes, removed battery and restarted.
Messages are still jumbled.

Stupid Smart Phone?

It might help if you can post an example of the received message. does not have to be anything more than a short message.

I agree with the posting jsconyers because language pack issues can cause this problem.

If you are on a BES it may help if you talk to the admin person.
