Default water problem with bb9700

Please Login to Remove!

Okey so last my sister was playing games on my bb9700 and droped it in water,i removed the battery and opened it then after 45minutes i put back the battery and started using it.this morning i found it off, now when i switch it on its working for 1 minutes and goes off completely. Please help is my phone slowly deing?

Never should have put the battery back in without putting the phone in a bowl of rice making sure it is completely covered. Leave it in the rice for several hours to dry or out. If the rice doesn't work, it may be bricked. Sorry about that.

Actualy i have found out that its not going off,the keypad is not working.if the backlight is off every seems off while the phone is on.i have left it in the bag of rice lol for now.
