Dear all,
I'm a new user with a BB 8900 curve model.
My bb is not working properly as:
°) when I switch on often the following message appears: Java lang error
°) my mail doesn't work anymore, the mail icons are disappeared and if I tried to read a mail from the messages icon, the BB stops working and appear a message:"uncaught exception application net_rim_bb_messaging_app(223 or other) is not working"

I tried to reinstall the firmware with desktop manager but the desktop manager sees my bb at the beginning (so it reads the pin and verifies that it doesn't require software) but if I triy to perform the backup or other actions it says that there is not a connection with my bb.

Could you please tell me if there is something I could do to solve this problem?

Pull the battery to see if that helps first. If not then you may need to reload the OS from a wipe. The top of the forum has information in the FAQ section. look for JL_cmdr for more info.

I already tried to remove the batteries and to use the JL_cmdr, also this program has an error and it doesn't give any information about my bb. I'll try again tomorrow with another PC, maybe I have some problems with the USB drivers. I'd have a further question: I should wipe all the data with JL_cmdr and then If I understoond correctly I should use the desktop manager software to reinstall the OS? Sorry I'm not an expert...Thank you
