Question No device software detected

Please Login to Remove!

Hi I have a 9800 Torch which is constantly rebooting. I am trying to use Apploader to install the OS again allthough I keep getting this message:

The BlackBerry Desktop Software does not have BlackBerry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer

I have downloaded the Device software 6.0 for Virgin UK but still recieve this message.

Any help would be great thanks

After you downloaded the software to the computer, did you INSTALL the software on the computer by running the EXE?

You must locate and delete all copies of VENDOR.XML on your PC C: drive. There may be more than one.

Something may be corrupted at this point. I would try using JL_cmdr to do a clean reload. Go to the FAQ section for more info on using it.
