| Sync with two Outlook installations -- separate calendars for business and private Please Login to Remove! Hi,
I am currently using a 6-year old Palm Treo. Great phone, but now its time has come. So I am actually considering Blackberry, particularly the 9810. Competition is Symbian^3.
I have two PCs, one private PC and one company laptop. Both are running Windows 7 and Outlook -- the company laptop has Outlook 2007, the private one will have 2010.
Can I synchronize with both Outlook installations?
I would prefer to tag my entries as business/private and synchronize them only with one device. This means I would have all appointments on my BB, the private ones also on my private PC and the business ones also on my company notebook. Business appointments would not be on my private PC and the other way around.
I could also imagine to have both business and private appointments on both Outlook installations. But I would like to easily differentiate between them, for example by having them in different calendars within one Outlook installation.
Oh, and I'd like to keep my data local, so no Google calendars. Also, no direct Exchange, just cable or Bluetooth.
Is all of that possible? If yes, is it smooth and slick and reliable? Or does it randomly kill or duplicate events?
Can I still see both events at the same time on my BB? Or do I have to switch calendars on the BB?
Thanks in advance for any help.
