I connect my BB 8310, Software version v4.5.0.55 through USB to Desktop Manager version 6 (newest, updates automatically) to upload my calendar, addresses, notes, agenda items to Outlook 2010, 14.0. ... (32 bit). I don't use any e-mail sync-ing.
All but calendar upload perfectly. I did not dare both ways because ..

Calendar does not upload regular events that were without end date, even after I modified them givem them an end date. I can fix this manually, creating them new, unless someone has a suggestion.

Calendar does not upload events before August 27, 2010 that had been entered in the past. When I add new events for the past - like - August 26 and August 28, 2010 - on the BB they are uploaded. I don't know whether I'm losing events in between.

The BB has 2806640 bytes of free memory.
I don't use and haven't used other calendar software on BB or Windows.
I have one ID on the BB and one in Outlook, no apps.
I believe that it can't be simpler, so hope for an easy solution to get it going without have to clean the system and fearing for my cherished data.

The calendar settings are wrong if you want very old entries.

KB16261-BlackBerry Desktop Manager prompts to delete a high number of calendar entries during a wired synchronization

I tried every suggestion from both the link behind KB16261-BlackBerry Desktop Manager .. above and the DM 6 manual provided by RIM: still the same. I'm losing all entries before a magic date.
By chance I just saw that I have an invisible calendar entry on the handheld that may be mixing everything up. It shows in Outlook as a yearly series without end date that starts Jan 6 0:00 until Jan 7 0:00, 1953; that is 24 hours long. No idea yet; trying to get my hands at it on handheld and purge or modify it. Any idea
- whether this can be the reason for the overall problem?
- how I can make that entry visible. My day settings already are at 0.00 to 0.00?
