Can anyone help me , when someone calls my blackberry or i make a call, you can not hear or speak until you put it on load speaker ??. Tried taking battery out but know joy. Any advise please.

stopped today, like i say the speaker works only when i put it on loud speaker

Switching between the front speaker and the rear one used for speaker phone if done via the OS. If you added any apps one may be causing the issue. You can try deleting the added apps. last resort is to reload the OS. This is if your SURE you did not get it wet or damp as asked by NJ above.
