dunno if this is a common issue..my bold 4 currently's having power issues. Phone trips off at will, even when connected to a charging source it will display the optimum battery status in a matter of minutes.
I've had to get a spare battery and after a month of use,the same thing's happening. My phone's about 9 months old n i'd like to know if this is software related or is just the batteries acting up. also dunno if the charging port too could be having issues. please help out!

If your phone is only 9 months old and having those issues I'd go for a warranty exchange or repair if I was you. Something isn't right, most likely the innards of the phone have gone somewhat awry.

Do you let the battery run down past 20% on a regular basis - i.e. more than 3 or 4 times?
