Yes i have searched this topic before on this forum and on google but most of the posts are outdated and unrelated to OS7.

I have a curve 9360 and i think its great. Only problem is I dont want the email indicator count on the homepage to show. I would rather that be ONLY for unread text messages. I cannot seem to turn off this feature only for emails, it is either all on or all off.

Anyone have any experience/suggestions? I like having my email accounts in my bb, I just dont want an unread count to appear in the homepage if you understand what Im saying.

Why do they need to fix it? It works the way 99% of their customers want it to.

On a 9900 running OS 7.1 (I think OS 7 is available for the 9360) there is a setting called "Display Message Count" under Message Display and Actions.

The options are Unread and None.

If that's available on your BlackBerry, change it to None and see if it works.
