Default Email conundrum

Please Login to Remove!

I need some help. I started using my bold 9000 again, but it had some problems so I wiped it and reloaded the os. Everything works great. It is hooked up to BIS and bbm is working, calls and texts as well.

I setup up my gmail acct. and it said it was successful and that an icon had been added for that acct, but there is no icon on the homescreen. When I try to compose an email from the message app it says there is no email configured and takes me back to the email setup wizard where I can see my gmail acct already setup.

This is the same problem with my work email (not bes).

I've attached some screenshots of what I am seeing.

I have done some searching and can't find a similar problem but my google skills maybe a little dull. Anybody have any ideas that might help?

Thanks

Have you tried pulling the battery and resending service books?

Yes, I have pulled the battery several times since I reinstalled the OS and I have resent the service books from my handheld. I have read about sending the service books from a website, but I'm not familiar with where I need to go or what information I need to do that.

I plugged it in the bb desktop manager this morning and it wanted to do an update, so I let it, but still no dice.

In reply to ZombieBerry:

I visited that url from my device and found all three of my email accounts. (Gmail, Work Email [not bes], and an @blackberry.att.com address I created for chits)

I deleted my gmail and re-added it, after which it told me "success! you will now be able to access this account from the home screen...blah, blah, blah". Got to home screen, nothing.

In reply to tsac:

I tried the advice from the knowledge base, but I'm not certain the problem is with my gmail, as I had it hooked up and working fine before. Also I am experiencing the issue with my @blackberry.att.com account and with my work email, which is hosted by some other company, not sure which.

Maybe I'll see what happens with an older OS tomorrow. Thanks for the replies guys.
