Your best bet is to ask the app developer.

If you expect anyone here to be able to help you, you need to name the app, describe any error messages you see, describe how the app is behaving, and tell what troubleshooting you've already tried.

And you also should try a hard reset, if you haven't already. That is, remove the battery while the power is on, wait 30 seconds, put the battery back, and try again.

Thanks, the name of the application is "PERSONAL LOCK" When I open it the only option I see is "add to personal lock" 'files, images, video and folders. I have tried to access the folder via Device-home-user-pictures but it shows hidden and gives no option of anything.

You need to contact the developer of the application.

Their e-mail is [email address].

So, the problem is more along the lines of the app hanging than being unable to open files or password not working.

For what it's worth, when apps don't launch, hang, or show other symptoms of corruption, sometimes the fix is to delete the app and reinstall. Have you tried that? If not, delete the app, do a hard reset, reinstall the app, and try again.

If the app seems to be working but just not working as advertised or not doing what you think it should, your best bet really is to contact the developer.

See above. A hard reset is a battery pull. But remove the battery while the powe is on. Wait 30 seconds before you put the battery back.

Sometime the device prompts to restart when an app is deleted. I think an extra hard reset is just a good measure before reinstalling the app. I have no evidence.

Thanks a lot pals... Somehow I managed to get to my device folders and clicked on "show hidden" it then showed a "picture folder and a "camera" folder both for media card and device memory... I encrypted the folders again and went to the "Personal lock" application and it now prompted me to decrypt them, I did and everything is now back to normal. The files that did not decrypt I removed the extension in the file name(plk) and is all good now. I have learnt a lot here and there.

Hi, I want to ask about the same application. I used "Personal Lock" and I add 1 folder consist of all Picture that saved on memory card and it's a very big size. And then I tried to decrypt the files back to my folder but it takes a very very long time, and during the process I can't use the other application. So I always cancelled the decrypt process, the last time I've tried to decrypt it takes 6hours and even no files at all moved to my folder.

can you help for this? What i should do?
