I am unable to configure my own email on the phone because email setup only gives me the option of "i want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server". i just want to use my personal hotmail account.
As described, this is not an issue with an IT Policy.
This message is typically indicative of not having the proper BlackBerry Data Plan set up for the device.
You likely need to recheck with the service provider that the new device is active on their BIS.
