Exclamation Blackberry 9800 Problems

Hey,

I've been having problems with my blackberry since i first got the phone in august last year. Its already been sent off for repairs once and came back fine.
However now the phone has developed several faults. It wont read a memory card, when the phone is slid shut the screen doesn't work (even after locking/unlocking it), when slid up the phones touch screen doesn't work so i have to use the track pad. The battery life lasts approximately seconds and the phones reboots itself about 2 times every hour.

I'm pretty disappointed with this phone, i read up that the 9800 is a very good phone, it seems mine isn't.

I have battery pulled it hundreds of times as it freezes up a lot.

If anyone has any advice please share

My advice it to replace your device. If you have already sent it off for repairs, that usually means you are hard on your device and it is probably still physically damaged from a fall or water.

Yes I am quite clumbsy when it comes to phones but I got this phone and since the day I bought it it has been in a holster unless I've been using it. I'm locked into a contract and I want to try to make them cancel it or change my phone. I have only dropped the phone once and it was in its holster. I have no idea what is up with it. Cheers for the advice though

The bottom line is that phones don't normally break on their own. More than likely your carrier will not cancel your contract or give you a different phone unless you had it repaired by them, but you can try.

Then go speak with them again... As you've had it less than a year, it should be under warranty.
