Default help!!

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, so I recently got a blackberry! Its second hand and everything has been cleared off of it. but I'm having problems with my media player! I have downloaded music and I have had music sent to me via bluetooth and over bbm but it does not show in my music files! When I open my music folder it says that I have 2 songs but when I go into view them it only shows the one that comes with the phone! My phone also does the same with my pictures. It saves a few but the others I save don't show. What do I do??

Have you looked and are the files actually there, stored either in main memory or on the microSD card (if you are using one)? If they are, we troubleshoot why the audio and picture apps aren't showing them. If they are not there, we break your steps down and figure out why you are not saving the files.

But let's be clear. If you use the file explorer, can you find the files? And if you find them, can you open them? If you have looked with the file explorer, looked everywhere, even with show hidden enabled, and don't find them, then they aren't there. We want to know this. Are they there or not?

You may have a an app, maybe looks like a file cabinet. Use it the way you use windows expolorer on a PC. Or else you would have an explore option in the menu of the media app.

Alternatives: Enable mass storage mode and navigate the card from a computer. Or if you have a card reader on your computer, use that.

I should have mentioned up front that a battery pull would be a good thing to try. If the files are there but the media apps don't see them, that has a good chance of correcting the problem, and likewise if there is some glitch with saving files.

Do the battery pull with the power on. Wait a good 30 seconds to a minute.
