Default Mass error messages

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I didn't quite know how to title this thread, as I don't really know what is going on with my phone.

Here are two pics to better illustrate the situation:

I haven't added anyone new recently. The pin that appears in the "messages" was one of my BBM contacts, who I deleted in an attempt to stop the messages.
The number of errors increases at a rate of around 1 per second, and deleting them has become useless.
My phone is a bold 9780.

I have a BBM group with some friends, and others have reported a similar case (from the same pin) but instead having the title "virus" spammed.

Does anyone know what I can do?

Thanks, Lucas

Have you taken the battery out and then put it back in?

Yep, I have. It just kept receiving the messages after the phone booted up again.

UPDATE: Ok, apparently the messages have stopped now after one long hour. I'm still curious to know why it happened.
Could it be some sort of malware on the sender's phone?

that error message indicates a run time error. The PC sending or possibly the BB sending has a problem. I would run a virus and malware check of my pc to see if it was mine.

I searched the PIN that appears in the message and it turned out to come from one of my contacts.
As I said earlier, other friends have reported getting spammed from the same person but with a message with the subject "virus".
Thankfully this has stopped, but it was annoying as hell.
