I use BIS. Anyway, for persons reading this that have the same issue, I have found the fix. Wiping your OS, like I did, will fix nothing because your account on your provider's BIS server will remain the same. In my case, it was Digicel, Jamaica.
All you need to do is to contact your BIS (mobile phone company) provider, have them delete the existing BIS account and create new one for you. They will likely give you a new username and password. Once that is done & you setup your email again via the email setup application, you can attach anything you like.
