Default Water Damage to Curve 9300

Please Login to Remove!

I recently dropped my phone
I took the battery out straight away but then put it back in.
the battery was in for about 2 and a 1/2 hours with water damage.
Then when i got home i put rice in a bowl then put the phone in without battery.

the indicator on the battery AND inside the phone is RED!!

around the edges of the screen is all misty white!

I have put the bowl of rice with the phone in in the fridge for about 1 hour and out of the fridge for about 5 hours.

I have tried putting the battery back in to see if it would work and have put it on charge about 5 times.
2 of the times the red light came on
and the rest nothing atall happened!!

Please help!

It's dead. If you're going to try drying it with rice, you really need to leave it in for several days.

Seriously, it's dead. Don't waste any more time or money trying to revive it. It sucks, but there's nothing you can do now.

I concur with the above. You put the battery in before it was dry, therefore you probably fried the device. Cut your loses, toss it and get a new one.
