Default Need help!

helllo, is there any professionals out there that could help me? i have a blackberry 8900 curve, my phone has it battery and simcard in, but does not switch on. when i put it into a charger, a red light comes for about 30 seconds and then switches off, but my phone does not on. please help!

If it worked before, try a new battery. If not, toss it and get something new.
