Default Torch gifted from UK is working funky now I'm home in Canada

Please Login to Remove!

My Mum (Bless her) lives in the UK. When I visited this summer she gave me her 9800 Torch which she has used there for a few years. On returning to Canada, I replaced the SIM card and began using it. However:

1. Local numbers dialled from Contacts are prefixed with the International dialling Code for the UK, +44. They therefore fail. When I dial manually, that's fine.

2. Text messages are sent, according to the phone. However they are not received.

Any comments will be most appreciated. Thanks! Edmund

You'll have to go into the phone settings and change smart dialling from the UK to Canada.
