Laptop will not recognise Balckberry

Been using the Blackberry for a month or two & connecting to laptop with no problems. Have tethered it on occasions to use as a modem.
Used it OK this morning, but this afternoon the laptop will not recognise it. Have uninstalled & reinstalled the desktop manager V7.1 with no effect.
Any of you kind folks got any ideas?

Did you reboot the laptop and do a battery pull on the BB?

Restarting the laptop might help too.

Glad it worked for you. A Battery Pull is the first thing to do for any odd behavior you might notice. It clears up a lot of issues......
