I have a BB 9300 and for the past three days my phone notifies me of a new text message via vibration, but then there is no asterick on the message icon. When I enter the message icon I see that the message is already marked read. If you go into the message the yellow circle is there though that says it has not been read. It is not happening with emails; only texts. Tried a battery pull which didn't work and moved around the icon and that didn't work either. I'm so frustrated. HELP!!!!!

it could also be theme controlled. Try a different theme
