Brand New Curve 9350, will not start
i received a curve 9350 for work today in the mail. brand new unit from sprint. plugged it in and i get the empty battery image on the screen with a big red "X" that goes through that image. i've googled and it sounds like this means the battery isn't being recognized in the phone. i just have a hard believing this happened with a brand new phone. is it possible this is normal and i need to leave it charging for a day or two?

If the battery isn't recognized then it may be plugged in, but it hasn't been charging.
Before you try another home remedy I suggest you contact Sprint to arrange a warranty replacement.
