Default BIS, BAP Clarification

Please Login to Remove!

I know there's lots of threads milling around the subject, but after an hours reading have not been able to find answers to queries I have, so apologies for subject matter, especially if it's easy to find, I didn't manage it!

Do ALL apps from blackberry app world require BIS?

and if not, are there recommendations for an email client, twitter and facebook apps?
or is the best bet to access these services through the browser?

thanks

Yes. You need a BlackBerry-specific data plan that includes BIS access in order to use App World.

you can access app world through wi-fi?

but anyway, i wanted to know if ALL apps FROM the app world would require BIS, or just ones developed by blackberry?
I want a social media app, so if I find one developed by a third party, there will be no issues on a std data plan?
and recommendations if they exist...

There will ALWAYS be issues using apps with a standard data plan. You need a BlackBerry data plan even to use WiFi.

app world work fine on wifi as of a recent update, I have let my kids use some older devices for some of the game available

some apps that require a BIS connection will not work if you dont have BIS
