Hi folks.

As you can see by the title I have a 9800. Now it seems to have an unusual giltch that only appears at night.

If I'm typing an email the cursor takes on a life of it's own jumping about all over the place, if I'm reading my Twitter feed it will scroll down of it's own accord and even if it's sitting idle the phone will suddenly move around the icons on the home screen highlighting them.

If this was happening all the time I'd just put it down to a software glitch but no it only ever happens at night.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a damaged unit. Maybe the digitizer? I'd go with an authorized service center for diagnostics/repairs, or just replace the device completely. Water damage can cause the symptoms you're experiencing.

Water damage would of course cause such a problem but I can guarantee that it has not come in contact with any moisture.

It could be just a damaged unit but if so wouldn't the problem I'm experiencing occur at all times of the day? It only ever happens at night, never once during the day. Strange I know but there it is.

Alas for economic reasons I'm not in a position of replacing it nor paying to have it tested.
