Changing BB ID.
 

Hi

I'm currently using a BB on Vodacom. Its PAYG, and was one of my families before mine. I've been using their I.D and got around to making my own now. What I want to know is if I log in with my new I.D on my phone, will I lose any data bundles or credit I have on my phone? Also, will I lose any of the apps stored on the phone?

Just read that I need to wipe all data for a new I.D.

Will I need to re-add BBM contacts etc?

BBM is tied to the device PIN, which cannot be changed. New device = new PIN. You will need to notify your contacts of the change.

You should make a backup of all the data and apps you want to move to the new device, using Desktop Manager.

And will my data bundle still be active when I sign in using the new I.D?

Yes. That is tied to your SIM card.
