Blackberry 8520 freezing up constantly and unresponsive
 

Hi,

My Blackberry 8520 is freezing up constantly after removing battery to reboot & is constantly unresponsive when trying to move around and clicking on the various functions on the menu. It is constantly resetting & I have to wait along time before it starts functioning again. The problem app Error 523 constantly reoccurs & have to reset. can someone please help me.

My advice, do a clean reinstallation of the device software. See the following.

There are some things you could try first, but I'm guessing you would be better off starting over clean.

Some tips: Do a full backup first, just in case. After you reinstall the OS, only reinstall the apps that you absolutely need, and watch your free memory.

Have you dropped it or has it gotten wet or damp recently?
