8120 stuck in reset cycle

can someone please help me with my BB pearl 8120, it just keeps turning on and off, resetting itself ?

Is it rebooting? If so, go to blackberryfaq.com and look at the following.

Hi aiharkness,
I followed the link you gave me. I downed load the BB Desktop Software and ran Application Loader Wizard but on the 1st step on the 2nd screen, it didn't give me connection:COM1 and the detect communication port also grey out so I stucked at this point. Do you have a clue ? Thanks
