8900 shows jvm unable to connect during software update

hi,
recently i tried to update my bb 8900 os and it was successful after that it went off with a red light on and when i tried to pull the battery out after that also the red light was blinking. so i tried to re install the os and it showed unable to connect to jvm. please help ASAP
