Trying to unlock my 9930

I have a Sprint 9930, I have an unlock code and I can get to the mepd screen, but them mep2 and mepp2 do not work.

I cannot enter the code....any ideas?

Maybe it is already unlocked.

When you type mepd, what does it read next to "Network"?
