Incoming email shows "House" after my first name instead of my last name?

The e-mail you received has been sent from someone who is saved as House in your address book.

Check your address book entries.

Or check the email service for this. If your receiving from one like Yahoo or the BIS service it may have the wrong name in a setting but the first place to look is as suggested by ZombieBerry
