Desk Top Manager
 

No version of DTM newer than 5.01 will run on my vista computer. Strange but true. I've noticed others are having the same problems. I tried Ver 7 tonight and that won't run either.

What is the level of the OS on your computer? 95, 98, ME,2000, XP, 7, 8 ???
Non Microsoft OS? Unix,

More detail will help you get answers.

It is running Vista home premium. On another almost identical computer, ver 7 runs fine. Del laptop inspiron 1525 it runs fine.
Del laptop inspiron 1545 it will not run.
Same software and OS on both machines.

I would suggest there is some conflict with other applications on the computer.
Using Task Manager may help. Also insure everything from older versions are removed.
Look at Task Manager on the computer that works and see if you can see a difference.

I did clean out everything I could find from the previous installs, even using regedit.
