Synchronising Contacts

I have established my Yahoo email account as my default email in my BB Curve. The contacts have appeared successfully in my BB, but if I add detail in either the BB Contact list or in my online Yahoo account, they do not automatically synchronise (in either direction) I have checked the wireless synchronisation box.....can anyone help?

It may take a long time for changes to pass through and be synchronized. A couple hours at least.
