How to delete an email adress
 

I switched phones with my brother and he had a blackberry 9780 and he had his email synced to it and I am wondering how I delete his email. It is a gmail account which he has.
When I go to setup and click email account, it says 'Connecting to email settings...' and after a while, it says 'Your device had a problem connecting to the server' and it has this same error message every time even when I retry. My wifi is enabled and properly connected.

So my question is, how do I delete an email account which is already set up / synced with the blackberry?
